Depois dos blocos no Finkel 2011, ela sobreviveu. After being injured in Finkel 2011 swimming championship, Daynara is fine.

After the problem with one of the blocks that fell in the swimming-pool, during Finkel 2011, brazilian championship, Daynara de Paula is fine. The only female in brazilian swimming team with index for London 2012, she was injured after one the blocks drop in the pool, and hit one of her feet. She was attended promptly by the club’s physiotherapy team, without any serious injuries, despite the first signs of pain. Days later, she was already walking with her good mood in fashion-modern salmon heels, in a mall, in Belo Horizonte city, same city where the championship has happened. Anxious with the next stop (no stop, the order is to move, move!), she is waiting for Panamerican Games in Guadalajara, Mexico, in october. So, bring the maracas, but they´ll gonna hear just the sound of brazilian samba… “Arriba”! Brazilians are coming. (Rosaly Bastos – Swim, Play, Live) (Photo: Rosaly Bastos)

Finkel championship starts in Brazil, no press conference and a finger cut.

No press conference

Cielo

Finkel championship in Belo Horizonte city, Brazil, first day: Cesar Cielo cuts his finger after jump in the pool, and gets the second best time in the 50m free this afternoon ( 22 s 92). Nicholas Santos, who didn´t go to Shanghai due to dopping accusations, did his job and got the first time: 22 s 62. Italo Duarte, an athlete from Mackenzie Club, unknown by media so far, got the third time (22 s 97), leaving Bruno Fratus, the other brazilian who got the second spot for the 50m free in Shanghai, in fourth (23 s).

Tired, with no vacations or days off after Shanghai, Cielo was quoted saying he will use Finkel as a trainning championship, meaning he is not that hungry to win as he was in China. He´s still a strong name, but Nicholas Santos has much to show after missing his spot in the World Championship, due to an accidental dopping for a banned substance, already set free by TAS-CAS, the superior court of sport. So, guys, just bring it on… (Rosaly Bastos – Swim, Play, Live) (Fotos: Reprodução e Satiro Sodré)
